Who is Isha?
I’m Isha Rajvanshi, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Washington. I offer telehealth services for individuals across Washington State. I received my Master’s in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University and my Bachelor’s in Arts from the University of British Columbia.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by life, constantly stressed, or misunderstood by the people around you? Therapy offers a chance to slow down, process, and move forward by understanding the roadblocks in your path. It provides tools and insight that can help you build a stronger foundation for navigating life’s challenges. My approach is strengths-based, and I believe you already have the resources within yourself to handle what life brings. Therapy simply helps bring them to light.
Counseling is most effective when it’s individualized and collaborative. Drawing from several approaches — including narrative therapy, feminist and multicultural-focused therapy, and reality therapy — we’ll create a counseling space that supports your unique needs. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you face and uncover their roots, whether they stem from intergenerational pain, systemic barriers, or the “-isms” that shape your world. Using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, we’ll work toward helping you take ownership of your growth and create change that feels right for you.
"Why are you a therapist, especially why the world is burning?"

Representation matters, it is important for there to be more therapists of color. It’s especially important to have providers who understand how identity, culture, and the systems we move through affect our mental health.
Therapy should be a safe and non-harmful environment. I believe our work needs to be more trauma-informed and intentional about the ways it interacts with power structures like police, ICE, and other systems of control.
You shouldn’t have to educate your therapist about aspects of your identity such as queerness, kink, or polyamory. You deserve to work with someone who takes it upon themselves to learn, listen, and understand without judgment.
Healing happens in connection with others. We live in a world that is often lonely, isolating, and individualistic, yet we heal through relationships and community. Therapy can be one of the few places where that connection feels safe and real.
Healing is also a form of liberation. Taking care of ourselves and each other is deeply tied to the work of creating a more just world.
Our world moves fast and asks a lot of us. Therapy is a space to slow down, ground yourself, and return to who you are.
At the heart of it all, I want to create genuine spaces in a world that can feel fake and disconnected — spaces where people can be real, complex, and human.
You deserve care that already speaks your language.
Let’s navigate your strengths and learn to harness them for your mental health.
